Mark Twain Salon
Established in 1925 at the former Jerusalem Hotel and was the first Alehouse & liquor bar in Jaffa.
Resonating Munich style bars typical of the era, the wall and ceiling images were painted to enhance the leisure atmosphere and to amuse the drinking patrons.
The murals faded and disappeared when the property shut down in 1948. A watchful and comprehensive rediscovery and restoration of the periodical artwork was a significant part of the restoration of The Drisco.
Named after Mark Twain who stayed at The Jerusalem Hotel and mentioned Jaffa in his book "Pleasure Excursion to the Holy Land".

Professional Wine Tasting Service
*New at the Drisco Hotel Tel Aviv -
Professional Wine Tasting Service by the Sommelier of George and John Restaurant.
Sunday-Thursday at 16:00-17:00.
The tastings will take place in an intimate space and include about 5 types of wines, with a changing theme.
The cost of the service - 150 NIS per couple.
